By sponsoring children you help give them a better chance at life. We aim for our students to attend school all the way through to the end of high school. The Tanzanian Government claims that primary education is free. However, this is most certainly not the case. Children in Tanzania often receive little or no education, unless they can provide money for school fees. You often see children immediately kicked out of school if families miss one payment. There is also the tendency of families to disregard education completely and have their children working in the markets or with family livestock from a young age.
